Games

Are there any walkthroughs?

Nope. It’s a game — not a manual. It’s up to you to explore the routes and figure out how to play. If you’re the kind who complains about vague choices, ambiguous dialogue, or shaky English… well, that kind of stuff just makes me smile. If that’s you, feel free to skip to the next question — or go f*** yourself. The game may not be perfect, but it’s never so broken you can’t move forward.

But what if I’m really stuck?

Getting stuck doesn’t mean you’re dumb. It usually means you skimmed a bit too fast, ran out of patience, or just hit a rough patch. That said, while a little frustration is normal, getting really frustrated isn’t fun. So if that happens, come hang out on the Discord server.

About numbering

There have been 4 routes since episode 6, and updates only affect one route at a time (most of the time). My numbering system should give you an idea of the progress of the updates:
GAMExxy, where ‘xx’ is the episode (08,09,10, ...), and ‘y’ is the route.
Each update includes the previous one: e.g. ‘AWAS 102’ includes ‘AWAS 101’.
When all the routes in an episode are complete, the route becomes ‘0’. There will therefore be no AWAS 104, only an AWAS 101 (route 1), an AWAS 102 (routes 1 and 2) and finally an AWAS 100 (all 4 routes).

Known bugs

A Wife at Stake

1. Saves prior to episode 9 may crash the game, either immediately, some time later, or never. It depends on the variables stored, and it's impossible to predict, and therefore impossible to manage. So I recommend that you redo the route using the ‘Ctrl’ key and skipping the dialogues.
2. Settings can be lost from one game to the next.
3. MacOS and Android do not support this, so updates from within the game will not work. As a result, updates are being carried out ‘the old-fashioned way’, via the website only, until a hypothetical solution can be found.

Subscriptions

Can I play without a subscription?

Yes, there are 2 totally free games: Debbie and Naughty.
You can also download the first episode of the other games (ICBW and AWAS). Subscription is only required for subsequent episodes.

Can I buy retail games without a subscription?

Not yet, but in the future it will be possible to buy each game, episode by episode. The timeframe has not yet been determined.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Stop recurring payments with Paypal or Stripe. Or stop paying. It will be suspended on the due date and your access suspended.

I have just subscribed to a plan...

1. When you subscribe to a plan, your subscription is created and a specific login and password, distinct from those of the site, is requested.
2. You will receive an email when your login and password have been assigned.
   For security reasons, this process is manual and can take up to 12 hours.
3. You will then find them in the 'connection data' section of your 'user profile'.

Your new subscriber status will give you access to specific information, including links on each game pages to download full versions. Your login and password will be required time you start the game.
